ROE went MIA

Things have been busy in the ROE camp as of late. Getting the word out and support for the cause has been quite difficult, even with the publicity on Squidoo and on Myspace.

I think that we are going to have to take a real grass-roots approach to the spreading of this cause and get the word out there from now on.

We are not asking for much here at ROE, only that people wlk away with a better understanding of what life with Epilepsy is like, and how we can work towards securing a safer, more tolerant, and better world for those with it.

We will be posting more often here. Look for a new Myspace page for the ROE coming soon.

If you stopped by here becausse you saw the link over on the Journey' page, thank you for taking a look. You will find a lot of information in the posts here asa well as on the EFA website.

And as always, a donation is welcome, but never required.

Have a great day!

Hi,
My name is Lakeshia, a thirty-four year old African American female, who yes, has epilepsy. I have always strived to do my best in all that I do and one of my loves happens to be working-out. I swim, bike, exercise and run. But my physical frame sometimes just can't handle the presures. I have gotten sick twice after running which can be discouraging and dangerous! But at the same time, my determination remains great. I want people to realize that if you want to acheive something bad enough successes are right around the corner. I continue to pray that one day this will no longer be an issue but a distant memory. Until then, I try to control my own life, so that my life will not be controlled by my illness!
